Getting in Gear

Now that it seems Mother Nature is done playing those winter/spring games with us, it’s time to look ahead to what is bound to be an unforgettable Donut Summer! We here at Moe’s Donuts are barely able to contain our excitement as we get in gear and start to fill our spring and summer schedules with fantastic events and even more opportunities to make new friends, as we continue sharing our donuts with the world. No Do’s Tomorr-o…

It breaks our hearts, but we will not be at the Westfield Farmer’s Market tomorrow (September 17) due to a scheduling conflict and that pesky law of physics that says we can’t be in two places at the same time.

So please accept our deepest apologies, we will miss everyone and hope that you will still visit the market for all the other great products offered there. We look forward to seeing everybody when we return to Westfield next week!

A Westfield Weekend!

imageWhat’s more awesome than a meerkat meme? Donuts, Westfield and a weekend! Join Moe’s Donuts as we get the magic going at the Westfield Food Fest this Saturday and Sunday (August 29 & 30) on Elm Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Westfield. There will be music, fun and of course Moe’s Donuts! The Fest runs from noon to 8 on Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday. Moe’s will be set up right at the corner of Elm and Arnold Streets – stop by, say hi, grab a donut and enjoy an incredible Westfield day!

Come to the Westfield Fairgrounds on Russellville Road tomorrow, August 16 and join Moe’s Donuts and the Westfield Cruisers as we support the Westfield Homeless Cat Project at the 9th Annual Wheels and Whiskers Benefit Car Show! Bring a can of cat food to donate and we will give you a free donut!
The Cruiser’s web site is www.westfieldcruise.com. The show runs from 9AM to 3PM; we really hope to see you there to help support our feline friends. Indy (Moe’s rescue cat) thanks you for your support!

Spring is in the Air…

…and so is the wonderful smell of fresh donuts! As the snow melts and the temperatures rise, we here at Moe’s are busy getting geared up and ready to rock. April will mark the last month of the Forest Park Farmer’s Market “winter” schedule and come May you’ll be able to find us every Tuesday right outside the Cyr Arena. We’re also finalizing arrangements to be at the Westfield Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, and weekends can find us here, there or anywhere! Stay tuned here on our site, on our Facebook page and follow our new Twitter feed as well.

2015 is going to be a great year, and we’re glad to have you folks all along to share it with us!

Donuts, drinks and trees!

Pell Farm Christmas TreesMoe’s will be returning to Pell Farm in Somers, CT for the next few weekends cooking up our fresh and irresistible donuts as well as all sorts of hot beverages while folks are picking up some of the best quality Christmas trees to be found anywhere in the area.

At Pell, you can cut your own tree or select from a great assortment of already-cut trees. Although Moe’s will only be there on the weekends, the farm will be open every day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM until December 21. So, if you are looking for a tree, look no further – and if you’re all set for a tree, we’d still love to have you stop by for donuts and drinks!

Donut and a Haircut…

Stop by and support the renovation of the iconic Agawam Cinemas at Salon Tres Chic during their Cut-A-Thon! Moe will be there with some of our awesome donuts to help raise funds to support this community project. We received a message from one of our customers who was at the Turner’s Falls Pumpkin Festival in our Moe’s Do’s Inbox this morning, but when we sent an email in reply, it got kicked back. All we can guess at this point is that there was a typo in the original message. We did some Google-sleuthing but no luck…

Agawam residents Mark and Maureen Weiner, co-owners of start-up Moe's Donuts, fry up and sell donuts at Pell Farm in Somers, Conn.

When Maureen and Mark Weiner told their younger daughter they might start selling doughnuts as a way to pay for her college tuition, she was far from sold on the idea.

“She’s a business major,” Mark said. “So of course she told us immediately, ‘Don’t you know how many small businesses fail?'”
